Danny

Founder & DIRECTOR (CONCEPT IP SERVICES LIMITED)

European and UK Patent Attorney

Design Attorney

Danny Butler joined the Patent profession in 2002 after studying Aerospace Engineering.

Danny has been Head of Intellectual Property at Airbus in the UK and was a Partner at an IP Firm for four years before founding Concept IP. This broad background provides valuable understanding of the “real world” practicalities of IP for businesses of all sizes. This is reflected in Concept IP’s commercially minded approach to IP issues.

When not working Danny will generally be either with his two daughters or his two dogs. He also has obsessive tendencies towards sport. He plays football regularly and is an FA qualified coach. Danny enjoys bouldering which is an ideal exercise for patent attorneys being based around solutions to “problems”.

Danny has been individually recognised by Managing Intellectual Property as "IP STAR" for Patents in 2016, 2017 & 2018.
